WE ROCK AND DON'T STOP!

AMERICAN HIP HOP35 is a new website based on the Lives Stories and Culture of our Hip Hop Pioneers who have paved the way for over the last 35 years. Hip Hop is a Culture and yes there is a story to be told by everyone who was there from the very beginning. Some will state their own version of what happened then some will say what they have heard from others but here for the first time you will get the true stories from the artists themselves. AMERICAN HIP HOP35 is for those who truly love the Culture Of Hip Hop and want to have more knowledge of what really happened, who did what and how this street elements became one of the biggest genre in Music.

35 Years later who would have though that this music will still be around and to state true facts, Hip Hop is being represented in every country globally. Yes in all languages!

Also there will be a section titled American Hip Hop Profile this section will profile the career of the living legends which in term now is American History. We will touch on the American Hip Hop35 Photo Gallery displaying some of the greatest photos taken in the 1st 15 years of this Culture and move forward into the later years showing how it has grown. We would like for all to join our American Hip Hop Blog and Message Board.

"They transcended the game...they put the showmanship in hip-hop!"

Bob Sumner/Producer of Def Comedy Jam

"One of the greatest rap groups ever. There are many but they opened the doors."

Vansilk/Founder of American Hip Hop 35/Hip Hop Historian

"The Message: one of the greatest videos ever made. The camera work, the clothing, the lyrics (...I think i might hijack a plane!...), way ahead of it's time. I used to wear stuff like that in the 90's in Baltimore of all places! That's how influencial the  Furious Five were to me."

Mighty Om- Emcee and Illustrator

"What's so coincidental about me making this statement about the Furious Five is that I was just listening to the vinyl 12" single of "The Message" last night!!! As the record was spinning around, I daydreamed a little. And it took me back to a time in my mind where this record had become the biggest sensation all around. It was one of the most different sounding records at the time particularly because it spoke of a social-political agenda. Gone were the bravado-braggadocio rhymes about who's the best. It talked to the people and gave a peek into the city life of New York or any other ghetto, for that matter. America sat up and paid attention. It threw you into a state of conviction. It made us take deeper looks into ourselves as a people in the inner cities. And it also said single-handedly that rap records couldn't be made the same way anymore. Aside from Flash coming out of the parks and community centers of the Bronx to be the baddest and most innovative dj to ever be heard and the Furious Five's "organized rhyme" skills which challenged other "mc's" to be better, this monumental crew set the bar for a new standard in Hip Hop. Things would never be the same after them. That's what Flash and the Furious Five mean to me. And that's what I was daydreaming about as that record was spinning around. Long live Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five MC's."

Easy Mo Bee/Writer & Producer/D.J

"As a female D.J from the Bronx when I 1st heard the Furious 5 rhymes and see them perform in the parks back in the days in my heart I knew that was something I wanted to be involved with."
